Galileo's Italian restaurant and pizzeria is the home of some of the finest Italian food you will find in the whole of Edenderry, and it is situated right in the heart of the town centre so it is accessible to everyone. They do takeaways as well as sit down meals and they always provide the most authentic Italian feel to their food and restaurant and you may as well be in little Italy.
Italian restaurants Galileos is one of the best in the whole area, the pasta dishes are exquisite and the pizzas are very nice indeed, you can start off with some dough balls or some garlic pizza bread sticks amongst all the other usual Italian specialties to start with the same of course goes for the mains and desserts and their ability to provide you with some of the best tasting and most bad for you food in your whole lifetime.
Even the waitresses that serve are Italian and it is most likely a family run restaurant with the Dad being the chef and the rest of the immediate family taking up some sort of position on the staff in order to cut costs down and keep everyone together, there is no better way to describe this little Italian restaurant other than exquisite and the people that work there are all friendly as well as remaining authentic. The food is delicious the service is always very prompt and the food arrives with 15 minutes of you ordering it so it ticks all the right boxes in terms of it being a reliable and fun place to maybe go on a date or go as a group of mates for a birthday or something like that.
Italian takeaways are some of the best takeaways you will ever taste also and there is no way you could better an authentic Italian restaurant doing takeaway food that you can take back to you house, it just does not get any better than this I'm afraid so I decided that I was so hungry I was going to eat my meal and order takeaway to come with me for a bit later it is just that good. The surroundings of the restaurant are lovely and it is in a very picturesque part of the town in a prime location so this little Italian restaurant will do just fine when it come to the crunch time and there is no way that you won't be happy come the end of the meal as the prices are incredibly reasonable also with the typical meal just coming between ten and fifteen pounds per head for a typical two course meal.
It is definitely value for money in terms of everything that you get included and the idea of an authentic Italian restaurant being on my doorstep is enough to make me never want to leave this town forever. It's a great little restaurant and Galileos is here to stay for sure.
